Dan has spent his career providing advisement to institutions, investment professionals, and ultra-high net worth families on alternative investments, energy-efficient solutions, and blockchain technology.

After beginning his career as an alternative investment analyst for an institutional investment consulting firm with over $50 billion under advisement, he was Regional Vice President for Steben & Co, the leading provider of alternative investment products to the independent retail broker-dealer network, and Vice President and Marketing Director for Morgan Keegan and Co. He has advised on hedge funds, hedge fund of funds, private equity, private REITS, and managed futures products in client portfolios. Previously, he was Executive VP at Trammell Bell, LLC, where he consulted large institutions across industry groups on energy savings and "smart" technology solutions.

A lifelong lover of horses, Dan started Byerly because of the flaws he saw in the current equine syndication models and his desire to provide investors with not just access to the experience and the lifestyle of the thoroughbred industry, but a chance to earn consistent returns in an alternative, non-correlated asset class.

Dan graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University with a degree in Economics.

An industry veteran for 20 plus years, Liz has earned the respect of trainers, owners, jockeys, and agents. Having worked as a foreman, assistant trainer, jockey, sports and racing manager, and bloodstock agent, she is a recognized leader throughout the thoroughbred industry. Known for her dedication, drive, professionalism, integrity, and success, her experience in almost every facet of the racing industry gives Byerly Stallion investments a versatile and unique skill set to capitalize on for both current and future offerings.

Liz first attended the University of Hawaii on a soccer scholarship and then graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Liz began her career in the racing industry working for industry stalwarts such as Steve Asmussen and Carl Nafzger before becoming one of the first successful female jockeys on the Chicago circuit. Liz also understands the intricacies of pedigree analysis and racing management.

Currently, Liz is a sports manager and bloodstock agent with clients throughout North America, South America, and Europe. Under her tutelage, her jockeys have won leading rider titles at tracks across the United States. The culmination of her efforts was achieved when she became the first female agent in history to have the leading rider at the 2018/2019 Fairgrounds Racecourse meet in New Orleans.

Tom, a contract employee of Byerly Capital, LLC., has over 30 years of Thoroughbred industry experience. His reputation and network provide the access necessary to meet our return goals.

Currently, Tom also co-manages K2 Thoroughbreds with Denali Stud. K2 Thoroughbred's latest offering of $3.5 million gave investors a net return of 23 percent in 12 months.

Tom is a recognized “Expert” in the US Federal Court system for Thoroughbred valuations and “accepted practices within the industry.” He was contracted to direct the acquisition phase of industry legend John R. Gains's commercial breeding operation and has been contracted for 21 years by the South Korean Government for stallion purchases in the United States.

Throughout his career, Tom has selected and brokered weanling and yearling racing prospects that ultimately won over 200 stakes races, 95 of which were graded as well as the purchase of broodmares that produced the winners of over 125 stakes races globally.

Dick, a contract employee of Byerly Capital, LLC, directs operations and advises on overall business practices and strategy.

Dick is the former VP of Operations for the Jack Eckerd Corporation where he worked for 27 years.

At Eckerd, he oversaw logistics, financial management, marketing, and talent management for what became the second-largest drug store chain in the United States with 2800 stores.

After leaving Eckerd, he grew his first start-up to over $30 million in revenue.

Dick works with companies and private equity groups to establish the management, sales, operational and financial metrics necessary to achieve long-term success.
